Hi,

chrisu Wrote:Hi alibert,

just checked again:

works while

<programme start="20070625000000 +0200" stop="20070625053000 +0200" channel="ard.de">

does not work.

I get no error messages, but 'Updated 0 entries' and I get an empty icondictionary.xml file.

I have no offset specified for both of my capture cards.

I am using the latest version of xmltvicons.exe from the wiki, dated 14.08.2006 18:29 and 32.768 Bytes file size.

chris

I will need to have a look at your xmltv file and your gbpvr database to see what's going wrong. Could you upload them somewhere or send the files to me by e-mail (drop me a private message for my e-mail address)?

Hi aibert,
I've searched and also scanned through the posts here but I didn't see my problem already mentioned...
I've only just started using you plugin for the last few days but I've noticed that quite often something that I have recorded actually is listed in the Recording screen as another programme and decription. The resultant file has recorded the correctly though (correct time and channel). Sometimes it has confused itself with another programme in the same timeslot but on a defferent channel, other times it could be different days, times, or channels.
Any suggestions? I'm using Community skin and 99.12, if that helps?
My appoligies if you have already covered this.
Matt.

I think someone else mentioned something similar to this. It could have something to do with the automatic epg update while gbpvr is running, but I'm not sure. I implemented some kind of auto-reload of the guide data when the epg is updated some time ago, but maybe it doesn't work with your setup.
Anyway, I will need to have a look at your log files when this happens again. Please also describe which show on which channel you have schdeduled.

Hi alibert,
I was just wondering if there were plans for a 1.0.8 version of TV Listings in the mix at all? I would really love to see this plugin adapt the new UI.

Thanks,
Carlito

Hi,

yes, there will be a 1.x version of the plugin - although I haven't started the development yet. However, I'm quite busy at the moment with other things, so it may take some weeks until I'm ready, sorry.

Hi albibert,
I don't have it happening on any logs at the moment. I don't remember it happening to programmes that I have scheduled that day... only recurring or programmes set to record a day or more ahead. Lately I've been manually recording each day so it's been working fine.

Do you think that it may have something to do with the way that I update the epg data. I schedule a batch file to run each night to:
1. Download the xmltv data
2. clear GBPVR's epg
3. import the newly downloaded xmltv data

It been some time and I can't remember why I was doing it like this so I'll try to disable clearing the epg tonight and I'll check back in.

Another thing that has been happening is that I get manual recordings with no show descriptions. ie. "Drawn Together_20070709210000 (Manual Rec)".
Again, this may be a symptom of clearring the epg.
I'll let you know...
Matt.

Well, not clearing and reloading the EPG data seemed to stop the programme description mix-ups.
Cheers.
