remote PVR150 and sattellite receiver

Here is the system I am trying to set-up

bell expressvu 4100
sapphire 550 theatrix
MCE remote with 2 ir blaster

I have the STB connect to the TV tuner card via coaxial cable.
I am using GBPVR and HIP.
I programmed the remote codes from the bell express vu remote to HIP and in GBPVR they come up on the screen but they don't change the channel on receiver. I have tried reprogramming the codes 3 times into HIP. I am at my wits end now and can't seem to figure out how to get GBPVR to change the channel on the STB.

I'm not really familiar with HIP, but does it give you the opportunity to test the IR Blaster to check the codes you've learnt (ie, taking GB-PVR out of the mix)?

I test the channels in Hip and from that program it does change the channel on the CTB. I think the problem or setting is in GBPVR

Have you configured your capture source to use .exe channel changer, and set that to call hipsend.exe? If so, I've never heard of GB-PVR not calling the exe it is configured for (everything else is up to HIP).

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the log and I'll take a look.

I get the following error message in GBPVR.

no video signal detected. please ensure you have a strong antenna or cable signal.

This happens when I try to use the remote to change channels.
Also when this happens GBPVR is on a channel and playing it.

I was looking at the log and I noticed a funny thing the channel i tried changing to was 325 but in GBPVR it said 126.

Can you also attach a gbpvr.exe-native.log that shows the same problem?

So you've got your capture source set to use the 'fixed channel, external tuner' option, and the appropriate channel number for your STB?
