I will try that, when i get home. The errors i get is in the config.exe.log(i have attached an old one).
What are the <VerboseX2Logging> and <ScanDay> going to do ?

The problem is that it won't start, and it doesn't show in the gbpvr-config-module.

<VerboseX2Logging>false should do no different to what you've got.

If you turn it to true it will create some HUGE logs.

<ScanDay> is the number of days between scans.

It should have done this from the config app. Maybe try that first.

It should work, in testing your directory stuff, I uninstalled GBPVR and installed somewhere else, then went to config app and configured ML2, these settings were populated.

Did you copy an old configuration file in after upgraded to 97.9?? Or something like that?

No, just upgraded from 96.12 to 97.9. Didn't copy any config-files back. I'll have to test it a bit further tonight, i think. Maybe try to create a "c:\program files\...." dir or something.

Isn't it odd that the ML2 doesn't show up in the config, even though it might have some kind of skin/path-problem?

Now i have made a clean install of 97.9 and the latest ML2+database on another computer(still in the danish program-path). Same result:mad:
I then created a "c:\program files\"-dir and copied the full DEVNC-dir to this location. Now when i start GBPVR in c:\programmer\.... everyting is fine!!!

Conclusion: Somehow either the GBPVR or the ML2 doesn't like the danish program-dir "c:\programmer\".

It is working now. I just have to remember to update both locations when i install new versions of ML2 Big Grin

Thats really strange. I honestly don't know why. I tried mine on a different drive in d:\gbpvr directory with no problems.

Strange indeed.

Curious, I don't know if it has anything to do with it but I wonder what the registry has in it for the install directory? (If that even matters).

From a dos window, you can type in:
Code:
reg query "hklm\software\devnz" /v "GBPVR InstallDir"

and it will show where GB-PVR's Install Directory is. I would guess it is in the "c:\programmer" path, but maybe something is fubar on that system.
