Can you enable log flushing then reproduce the error and repost the logs?

There is a checkbox for it on the front page of the config app.

Did you generate the error shown in post #20 before posting these logs? I can see that error message in the logs, but I would expect to if you got the message on the screen.

Yep, the exception dlg comes up but clicking continue doesnt get rid of the dlg, it just comes up again, ontop of a white back ground with a black cross through it, maybe its not written into the log because the exception isnt being handled properly in this case.

The only way I can kill the app is to kill the process through process manager, then zip up the logs.

Ive just tried repeating it and again there is no error or mention of the exception in any of the logs.

Is it possible skin related?
I only ask becuase its not all pages and I noticed there were some skin files in the patch.

The tv guide, live tv, and system menu pages work ok, but music lib, recordings, video lib, picture lib all crash in the same way.

Are you using the default blue skin?

The reason I had to include skin files is because my build has moved on too far to be able to do simple patches. The new builds expect certain things to be in the skin files that werent available in the older 1.0.16 build released.

Yep everything is default and no additional plugins, I learned long ago to stick with defaults as much as I possibly can.

When I updated to 1.0.16 I did a clean install rather than upgrade, I have added a few preveous patches to fix epg, and other a few other things, but I dont think Ive added all released patches.

I can try reinstalling 1.016 and applying just this patch if you think thats worth while.

I suspect my build may have moved on too far and no longer be compatible with 1.0.16, so you might need to wait until the next release.

Ok well thanks for looking at it, at least I know the next release should enable me to move to fse, for now Ill just reinstall 1.016 to get a working build again.

Any idea when the next build will be?
