Ah, there is a known issue with these older geforce MX cards. Most owners of these have found they've had update their video card drivers.

Sub, I just got back from my lunch break and tried upgrading my NVIDIA driver from the link you provided. Sure enough, as soon as I downloaded the upgrade video starts playing. However, I've noticed that I still have a problem with the TV Guide saying "no tv listing/no details" something like that when I'm using the pvr2.exe. Though I have no problem with the gb-pvr.exe. Why is that?

Where are you getting your listings from?
If you scroll up/down do you see them further down the list? ie, two sets of channels in your guide but only one with listings?

I'm using Yapi2XML as the source.... the channels are there but no tv listings/details when I'm using the PVR2.exe but when I use the gb-pvr.exe I see the listings...

Several people that had previously used zap2it, then tried to switch to Yapi2XML have had this same problems. It relates to all the old zap2it channels still being there, but having no listings, aswell as the newer channels Yapi2XML which do have listings. GBPVR.exe always put channels with no listings at the end of the TV Guide. PVRX2.exe always shows channels in order of channel number (so original zap2it channels grabbed the low numbers), which results in a blank screen.
The easiest fix is to delete your gbpvr.db3 file, then start the config app and recreate you capture sources (effectively starting again from stratch). |
