One of the programs works well. The time line with comskip is good. The program with the strange comskip time line is there, but, the comskip is not effective. It has a time line that shows about half dark green and half light green and it shows 3.34 as the time. The dark part is commercial. The light part is show. But it does stop at 3.34. If you skip back, you can watch parts of the show that didn't play initially. At this point, watching does not skip commercial.
I've attached logs and if it works a screen shot of the 3.34 show.

I wouldn't get too hung up on comskip. Maybe you use that as an indicator of the problem but it's just doing it's job. It thinks there's a 3 minute show, with the first two being commericals.

What to really look at, and you have is, the show reports the wrong length. It is a normal file size, but the length is reporting wrong. If you shuttle around with the remote, you have a gard time...

That sounds like the time stamp issue. And one way to tell is to try and retime the video. if you then get 33 minutes (remember, forget about comskip) then it's definitely timestamp

Sorry, but I have no idea what you're trying to tell me.

If you're telling me your half hour show only recorded the first three and half minutes, then post the logs for the time of the recording.

If you're telling me your half hour show gets reported as three and a half minutes, but actually plays if you left it running, then what device was used to record it? PVR150?

If you're tell me comskip sometimes identifies the wrong parts of shows as ads, sorry I dont care about this. You could try posting for some help on the comskip forums to try increasing the accuracy for your specific recordings.

The video is the correct length however when it hits the 3:34 mark it stops. If I shuttle back it plays additional (more) show. It also plays commercials then too.
How do I tell which of the two devices taped which show?
How do I retime the video? This is one of the problems I was encountering with the second recording. Is retiming something I would have to do with each recording, or, is it something that will put both devices on the same time as each other?

This is the timestamp issue for sure. I have the same two tuners and just logged on to post about it. I have the same 2 tuners as you (an HVR1600 and a PVR150) and the 1600 has no time issues, whereas my PVR150 has them very regularly. Searching for a fix now, but if someone wants to chime in, that would be great Smile

The PVR150 timestamp problem is discussed here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=14006, and includes fix information.

That seems to have worked. I read that the drivers might be a problem with the timeline and yesterday I loaded the current drivers from Hauppauge's website. I kept those and just made the registry addition today.

I recorded 6 shows this afternoon. All were correct on the time line.

The driver currently installed for HVR 1600 is 1.62.26028.0
The driver currently installed for PVR 150 is 2.0.48.24227

My chipset is nvidia nforce2 IGP in an Anthlon XP @2133 MHz with 2 G RAM and XP Pro OS

My hard drive crashed and I installed a new one. I had everything backed up with norton ghost on a remote drive but didn't have the drivers to reboot with the remote installed so I had to redo everything.

I have a PVR150 and HVR1600 installed with these same drivers (2.0.48.24227 and 1.62.26028.0). I did the registry update to fix the TimeStamp problem.

I can schedule two shows to record but only one records. Last night I scheduled two consecutive shows to record and only one recorded. Maybe the pre and post show padding scheduled them to record on each board and one doesn't work?

I cannot get live tv with GBPVR. When I click on Live TV on the menu, it flashes and returns to the main menu.

I ran filter check and the log looks good to me.

Where do I go from here?

Post the logs and I'll take a look.
