The DVD was put in the post today. Hopefully you'll have it in a day or so.
Ok, thanks.

Just registering to say I have the same problem, if I have anything extra to add I'll post. Until I found this post I had thought I had an annoying problem where sometimes when I pressed "Jump backwards" it would go forwards a random amount; had not noticed the timeline vales changing

I'm attaching a screenshot of another issue I'm having with the timeline. This has occurred on three different recordings over the weekend with different durations. Any attempt to FF or RW results in the recording starting again from the beginning with the timeline showing -596523:-14:-08 (or similar). If you stop the recording then you are thrown back to the main menu.

More than happy to send you a DVD sample if it would be useful Sub.

Can you see if the attached patch helps? It did resolve the issue with the Sunday show you sent on DVD.

Thanks for the patch Sub.

I applied the patch and it partially fixed the -596523:-14:-08 issue. It no longer shows the negative number but the estimated duration of the recording is incorrect. Instead of reporting ~30 minutes it is reporting 3hrs 44.

I tried playing back two other recordings that had the -596523:-14:-08 type issue. One 30 minute recording behaved the same as the above example and estimated the show at over 3 hours. The other recording showed the correct 1:02 duration and played back correctly.

Thanks

Can you see if cutting a chunk of that file results in the problem occurring? If it doesnt, I'd like to download the file and take a look. Your Sunday file is reporting the correct duration for me.

Ok...I'll take a chunk of the file tonight and will let you know the result.

I took a 40MB chunk and the duration reported is correct. I've burnt the full recording (1.6GB) to a DVD and it is in the post today.

The patch did the trick for the Sunday recording. Thanks

Hiya Sub...just wondering if you had a chance to take a look at the sample file I posted? I'm still encountering timeline problems where the timeline shows a massive negative number with inability to FF or RW.
