I totally agree, the script isn't great, I just wanted to get you going until you figure out how to setup the share properly, I don't even link the bind. Feel free to submit a working one.

Martin

Logs attached.

The script got me up and running. I'm doing the network share now.

My eGreat 34a has a power button on it's remote too. Hmm... HAHAHA the power button on it's remote turns the 34a off completely. That won't do LOL.

I have 4 recordings. Two are .ts's and 2 are .mpgs. Both seem to be transcoding. The .mpgs show the entire length in the OSD, but they don't allow you to skip around. The .ts only shows 1 second in the OSD and skipping doesn't work.

My config was previously attached. The only changes I've made are for the web UI port, fixing the MAC address and adding another NMT's MAC. I also changed the NMT skin off Mayhem (yuck, and that's coming from a long time XMBC user).

I'll give that a whirl, thanks.

In the logs it doesnt look like it's transcoding anything, and I'm guessing you dont see ffmpeg.exe running in the process list? I dont think there is any video types that will try transcoding for playback on the NMT.

I'm not familiar with the eGreat remote, so I dont know if there is any stuff not yet possible with its buttons, but this may explain the lack of skipping.

Nope, no ffmpeg. Just wondering why fast forward/skip doesn't work :/

In post one when you said you skipped the GBPVR install, did you skip the GBPVR update too? That would be required.

potentially. I did it a couple times honestly.

Could it have something to do with the playback/renderer?

No. I am not seeing you using the updates to GBPVR.

Great. I saw you use Slick, which I find too slow. I suggest you use the Blue skin to see what the optimized skin is like before trying the others. Once you learn the mode button, and some art and meta data it starts looking a lot nicer.

For your overscan just change to 1160 680 60 20 and see if that helps and grow from there. Mayhem3 would have been really bad because it needs this patch As for the skin Mayhem3 needs a patch as shown here http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...stcount=76

Mayhem3 will ease the entry for the spousal unit... but it still looks a bit off.

Thanks for the help.
