1.5.36 can't use analog tuners, but 1.5.33 can.

I didn't want to rock the boat because Sub Santa came early, but my PVR150 kept getting error message as page 1 of this thread.

Can't play tonight as Server has been turned off due to house full at Xmas. Should patch fix all analog device errors or just hvr2200?

That fix would only help a HVR-2200. If you post the logs for your PVR150, I'll check out what the problem is.

I did a little experiment. If I take a 1.5.36 installation that can't use my analog tuners & replace the unmanaged.dll with one from a 1.5.33 patch dated November 11, it seems to work. I can watch with one tuner & record with the other at the same time. I don't know what this means or proves, but I just wanted to let you know.

You should sub supply the same bunch of logfiles as he suggested and i did. It looks like, that you have the same problem, which i had. Sub is aware of this, but he needs more information from you. Please run this utility: http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ilterCheck and zip this produced file with your current logs of your setup, so that sub can add some tweaks for your cards.
Replacing files of a current release with older ones is no good idea. In case of errors or bugs sub will have bigger problems to identify/find/fix them, because of the different softwareversions.

Btw., sub: great work, patch is working fine. No new error since applying it.

I restored the unmanaged.dll from 1.5.36 (well, one from the patch dated 12/27) & tried again. Logs from that & FilterCheck are attached.
