Thanks but it had to be running Windows of some sort as she wanted MS Office 2010 installed (she already had a licensed copy). We went for the Toshiba I mentioned in post #11 - 2.4GHz i3 processor with 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD. It's a really nice machine and she's more than happy with it.
