Hello,

Sorry to drag up quite an old thread... But the features discussed early in this thread (being able to create recurring recordings/series links within the XBMC interface) was the reason that I switched from Linux (& TVHeadend) to Windows & NextPVR. I've tried with the add-on that comes with XBMC (Author: Graeme Blackley, v1.9.7), but it just has the standard single add timer when setting anything to record within 'LiveTV'.

I tried disabling the built-in XBMC nextpvr plugin and installing the various zip files attached on this thread (pvr.nextpvr.zip), but it says 'Dependencies not met'. I'm running Gotham (13.1).

I've also tried XNEWA, but that just seems to be way of opening the normal NextPVR frontend from within XBMC.

I've searched this forum and google, but coming up a blank. Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance.

Definitely use the Gotham PVR addon that comes with your linux distro it will have recurring support. However if you aren't using Confluence there are some issues with the skin discussed elsewhere.

Thanks Martin. I'm using a Windows PC as my client with XBMC 13.1 and the default confluence skin. I've tried the PVR add on that comes with this version (Author: Graeme Blackley, v1.9.7) but can't find any recurring recording options within it. Am I missing some thing?

There is no specific menu option. From the EPG keep drilling down from Add Timer -> Record -> then you get choices.

Ah... I was missing something rather obvious! After you select 'Add Timer' it gives you the 'Record' prompt, which the question-like nature of that prompt makes it look like its going to record the one individual show that you selected. But after clicking 'Yes' it does then give the options for recurring etc. Thanks for the swift reply. :-)
