Yep, could have been something like that. Occassionally we encounter machines which behave different to everyone else's due to oddball settings etc.

Thanks so much for your help. Have a look at the attached image. I believe this is what the end result of your effort with Graph Studio may have looked like, right?

That graph is raw output, if your card can't do h/w mpeg capture you need to insert the SoftPVR components.
