No EPG after upgrading to 3.8.3

I'm having the same EPG problem with 3.8.3.160929. I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted with -updatedb, got "database changes applied" message, but always "Unhandled exception... method not found: 'System.Collections.Generic.List'1<NUtility.EPGEvent> NUtility.EPGEvent.GetListingsFromReader...' Looks like the uninstall did not delete settings, though... Any advice?

Any advice?From that error, it didn't manage to install all the updated files, possibly because some component of the application was running. Stop NextPVR, make sure sure nextpvr.exe/ntray.exe/nrecord.exe aren't running (kill them if they are), then re-run the installer.

Hi , I just installed NextPVR today , brand new, I noticed I only have 1 day of guide data. I tried this cmd after killing the processes and got the database changes applied message. I am using OTA in the US.

The US has really crappy broadcast EPG. ie, they usually only give you 6 hours of listings for ATSC, or none for QAM, which sounds like exactly what you're describing (so nothing going wrong). Most people in that part of the world get a Schedules Direct account, which gives 2+ weeks of great listings.

Since I posted I discovered basically what you just advised. I am currently downloading the guide for the SD 7 day trial.
