I'm still using an older version 0.91.12 due to the same issues although this works fine with cyberlink 5.x.x.x ax filter going upto the lastest version just causes failed recordings and an error msg that the BDA device cannot be found sometimes although other programs can see it. But as I record regularly I haven't had time to play around with it too much.

Hurrah! A weekend's worth of successful recordings with my Nova-T at last! The magic mux you need to get your hands on is 5.0.0.1307.

Sub, I will try the SS mux again at some point and give u more info about the crash.

regards, happy funkybro Big Grin

funkybro_uk - any idea of where you got v5.0.0.1307?

I've tried a complete computer wipe and reinstall, but still having problems -v5.0.0727 results in a 0kb file about 80% of the time that it is recording simultaneously with my 250 (basically the reason for having a second tuner) and the showshifter filter is better, but still randomly doesn't record about 30% of the time, so I will try one or two more muxes then just disable the card - it's better to decide which program I want to record rather than let the hardware do it for me!

It's obviously a pretty random thing, as sub has uses the same card (a Twinhan DVB-S) in the same city, using the same BDA mux, and yet has no problems - might just be worth leaving for a few iterations of the BDA drivers/gbpvr versions. (Although I am using the currently available v3.12.0.2986 of the Showshifter mux, rather than sub's recommended v3.10.0.2824)

I have the USB2 version instead but was experiencing similar problems and so decided to try the 5.0.0.1307 version. This has been a vast improvement, over the last three days I have recorded about 30 programmes with no crashes.

I have had three 0 MB files so still have a problem but this seems to be a wider issue as some non BDA users seem to be experiencing this as well. I will have a good look through the logs next time it happens.

It seems to be discriminatory, all the kids stuff worked fine but the German Grand Prix highlights, 2001 and Murder Investigation Team were all 0MB!
