4.0.4 Skips Hang Playback

I have just realized that Skip Forward now skips forward 2 mins and Skip Back skips back 1 minute - also short skips are the same (2 mins forward, 1 min back)
In config.xml the setting is for 60 seconds forward, 30 seconds back and 10 seconds for both short skips.

This has only happened recently, possibly since the updated NPVR.exe from https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...post519443 for the normal skips, but the short skips have been broken much longer - since 4.0.4.

Sorry False Alarm I've just discovered it was caused by corruption in the remote software (LM Remote) giving double presses on all the arrow keys. Uninstalled and using NPVR to control the remote for now and all OK.

What other software is there that is free and still updated for using a MCE remote - could do with it to control other software. (MediaMonkey and visualization software)

Here's something I find interesting. Out of curiosity, I recorded a program I watch both from cable with my HDHR and from the IPTV service I'm testing. This was a three-hour program. The IPTV .ts file was just over 6GB and the HDHR .ts file was just over 14GB. Skip worked perfectly on the IPTV recording but was problamatic on the HDHR recording. Seemingly, .ts file size is a factor in the skip problem. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone else can confirm this or suggest a solution to the problem.

Yes. Anything recorded by the HDHR has that problem. That problem has just started since 4.0.4 for me. I had gone back to an earlier release until just a couple of days ago and the skip was fine with that version.

Sorry to be pain, do you have other without major reception issues? Makes it a lot easier to test this stuff if I can get a file that plays cleanly.
