ATI 650 Pro working for anyone??

As whurlston said above, you cant use the ATSC settings to try to scan for digital cable.

You can either use the built in ATI 650 ATSC settings for trying to scan with an antenna, or make those alterations mentioned in the link he provided for trying QAM scanning (digital cable).

Could not find anyone asking this so,any luck with the 650 combo usb any pointers on geting gbpvr to even detect it got the pci and usb it only sees pci version.
Also using same 7.12 driver.

Can you run the filtercheck.exe from the GB-PVR directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log that gets created?

ati tv wonder 650 pci old reworked do not want analog just qam or ota to woek finds nothing with either scan
ati 650 combo usb gbpvr say no driver when saving tuner sttings do i want to continue it does qam in cmc but program sucks
hvr-1600 cable+qam works flawless

What device numbers do you have on each of these capture sources.

You should have your HVR1600 analog as device #1, digital as device#1.

Ati tv wonder elite analog as device #1.

Ati 650 analog as device #2, digital as device #1.
Ati 650 analog as device #3, digital as device #2.

Have you tried the Catalyst Media Center download? It gives you the choice of analog or digital, but good luck with the whole card. I have one, and I am very disapointed in it. Wish I had kept my all-in-wonder!

I have had very good luck with my 650 Pro. All-in-Wonder won't work with GBPVR.

i have tried with QAM & ATSC (in US, on cable vision)
I cannot get digital to detect anything when I run the Digital to EPG scan. Do I have to edit the file still ? I installed GBPVR less than 14 days ago.

Are you using vista or xp?On vista I use the latest 8.12 xp drivers.Seam to work pretty good scanning for me.The vista drivers have never worked, not one version go figure:confused:

I Also use cyberlink 8 decoder and ac3 filter.Use the default ts mux and multi-record is the bomb.Ive had 6 shows recording on 3 tuners.

I have to figure out how to tell what drivers I am using...
I have downloaded & ran the installs for XP & Vista 32bit & 64 bit (even though I know I've got only Vista 32bit installed.
And what do you mean by the cyberlink 8 & ac3 filter? does that help live viewing work better? I'll try to finish learning about the plugins & filters next week. I am away from home right now & cannot do much.
