If I understand you correctly, you're asking where I'm getting my EPG data. The source is Schedules Direct.

I did find the Sage TV installer as well as the license number, so I'll probably uninstall it tomorrow sometime. However, given the fact that the two programs I've uninstalled so far (Power DVD and WinTV2K) haven't made any difference, I'm not that optimistic. I've been trying to think if I've done something very stupid that I nor anyone else would readily think of but I haven't come up with anything yet. I'm really baffled!

Just won an auction on eBay for an AMD Athlon XP 2700 processor. I've needed to upgrade my 1.3 GHz Athlon for some time. The new CPU should make the video stuff go a bit faster; e.g., editing, DVD authoring, etc.

Just removed Sage TV Recorder from the system but, as I suspected, that had no effect on the "no tuners available" issue. I just noticed a little while ago that someone else posted a message about the same problem, under slightly different circumstances, but the exact same situation that I'm facing. I really hope I can find a solution before the end of the day tomorrow as that's when my trial subscription to Schedules Direct expires. Don't particularly want to pay for a year's subscription when I may not be able to use it. I think I recall reading somewhere on their site that they don't give refunds if you cancel the subscription.

By the way, what is PVRX2?

your recordings directory is set up to temp change that to another hard drive and make sure the folder exists
the other thing is
i dont have schedules direst but i notice you just have all your stations set to numbers from 1,2,3,4 and so on
in new zealand (my setup) you have to change these numbers to refer to stations so use the tuning assistant found in the startup menu to find the correct stations
hopefully someone will read this to tell you how its meant to be setup as i dont use the same epg data etc

also in the last tab try unticking the live preview button

also change your video decoder to an actual deocder rather than default

im still wondering if theres something wrong with the file you sent me when you deleted and reinstalled gbovr did you remove the devnz file completely from your system

im thinking maybe you start again
when you install dont add schedules direct straight away instead just load a manual setting from a channel you find using the tuning assistant
that way we can figure out if its that causing issues

I'm a bit puzzled about the recording directory. I just looked at the config app and the recording directory is set to: D:\Recorded TV. Anyway, I hit the browse button and again selected that directory. As to the TV channel setup, the TV Guide in GB-PVR doesn't show the numbers but just the station call letters. However, in PVRX2, the Guide shows both the channel numbers and the station call letters.

get rid of schedules direct and i will be able to help you (just for now once we have it finding the tuner you can go back to it i just want to take it out of the loop cause i know nothing about it
have you tried the tuning assistant

OK, I've made the changes you suggested except for re-installing GB-PVR. I'll do that after I send this email. Yes, I deleted the entire devnz folder from the system. I knew from past experience that sometimes folders and certain files are often left behind after an un-install. Haven't used the tuning assistant yet but I'll give it a try.

the tuning assistant tells you where your channels should be and will also let us know your tuner is responding
