Yup Smile
Solved it for me to.
However if I don't have IR32 runnings and set to direct access it doesn't work but as it works with IR32 running I'll use it that way.

Thanks Sub.

Oh, is this mod adding into your development, ie, it will be in subsequent versions also?

Yes, it is part of the mainstream development.

Hi Sub -

The patch that fixes the OSD issue for me in this thread regresses the functionality to play top-level music folders recursively/randomly, as you provided in this thread:

http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=31

Just a quick note to let you know you might want to make sure to merge those changes on future releases.

(Unless of course there is an intermediate patch I missed along the way)

Thanks,
Brian

I only have the one development build, no branches etc, so no merging is required. If I release a patch then it is part of the next release.

Hi Sub

Great news - the patch fixed it. It all works perfectly - well almost.

I had the server lock up, that is to say any mouse, keyboard or remote didn't make the screen change - I think it may have been to do with the client as the TV froze. I had to kill it ! - If it happens more often then I'll try and figure out some more details.

Thanks

Keith

fixed mine also....excellent...thought i was goin bonkers for a while there...Big Grin

tho i notice now my aspect ratios aren't quite the same..
when viewing ota hd, fill laves the black bars on the sides, only 'filling' the vertical....when it should/used-to zoom out both dimensions..

on note of this fix, is the window control [alt-space] not available anymore? as well as the 'keep on top' setting? seems like that would have fixed it for me..

Are you sure you werent watching a video that happened to have black bars as part of the picture? This is the only way you should get black bars left & right. ie, a 4:3 show transmitted as 16:9 with black bars added prior to transmission?

Alt-space still works here, and has the 'keep on top' setting. You need to be in Window mode to get this though.
