yes i know finding a ripper is a problem.
But how about audiograbber (http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/) from the last release on it's freeware. It can rip directly to mp3 (using lame as external encoder with stdin/stdout) and is only slightliy slower than dbpoweramp. The only problem about it is that there are no commandline options available.
But i have an idea for that too. I read somewhere that it would be possible to send window commands (LParameter, WParamter) directly from one program to another. If you could get this running it would be very easy to use audiograbber. Just configure as standalone ripper (the settings are stored in an ini file) start it and send window command for ripping. Let it rip to standard dir and then, as you do it now, rename dir and files according to freedb.
