I will get you a different installer tomorrow, and see if that helps. It looks like the installer doesn't have permissions to overwrite the WizTools in the Plugin/common folder, and it causing the installer error.

Is there possibly some file permission thing going on?

Not knowingly.....not that I initiated. I'll double check things and see.

Wow, W7 and x64... it maybe the installer doesn't work with that OS. I'll have to find out.

But the error is interesting because the value of that numeric shouldn't be zero, ever... I will double-check.

My install on Windows 7 x64 went without a hitch. The only third party plugin I have installed was my own Movie Library at the time.

I do have Wiztools on only 1 system but both are giving me the same problem. Tried a few other things but it made no difference. The install does not complete and my current plugins disappear in config.

Update on my problem: I stopped all GB services in task manager, uninstalled Weather2, removed all plugins from the plugins directory & cleared the common directory. I then re-installed Weather2 & all was fine, re-added plugins 1x1 & when I put Torrents back in the "Weather2XmlSerializers.dll" missing message started to pop up again. Hope this helps nail down the problem.

The installer (my try on windows7) wants to delete some of JavaWiz's dll's and is getting tripped up by permissions.

Not sure why you would want to delete these files, unless you are updating the versions, but running install as admin allowed to run through the second time I tried.

I don't know why the installer does this either. I may drop the WizTools from the installer and just make the user download the DLLs on their own.

Or I can ask JW what he does...

Hmmm, I have no idea why zero is in that numeric... I should have been catching the exception, just in case.

I have done this, so hopefully the next release will work for you.

Here is a test build to see if that error goes away. Just unzip it in the Plugins/weather2 folder. Thanks.

Sorry, not for me. At first when accessing Weather2 from the menu, it just went to a blank, blue (Community Skin background) screen then crashed. Now it just crashes when I try it.

UPDATE: tried in system #2, also W7 x64 and got the same exact results. In fact, I reinstalled and it took 3 times in admin mode to get it to complete the install.
