Well maybe you can help me with some suggestions, i don't know what to do, i installed wintv 7 and updated all drivers and it will work even though it's horrible it will work, so i don't quite understand why it won't work, my hands are tied right now, maybe you have some more suggestions? thanks

Enable the 'extended logging' setting in WinTV7, reboot, then watch one of your analog channels, then post the WinTV usb.txt log file and I'll take a look.

Well after rebooting i can not find the extended logging setting, then second it claims there is no signal, when a while ago it showed a channel before it went buggy, and third the only log files i have are as follows log, detect WintvRec, and WinTvTray. Will any of these help? should i post them all?

Well this is very odd my WinTV7 doesn't have that button, it doesn't have all the decoder stuff on the bottom either along with the whole right side of the tv section, it also doesn't have the WinTV Extend tab as well. I wonder what's wrong with mine (or what i did) that caused that to happy. Let me know again thanks so much

You must be using a very old version of WinTV7 not to have the extended logging option. Download the current one 2.1a release from http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=20679
Its normal for most people not to see the WinTV Extend tab. This was a feature people paid extra for, so it only shows up for people that feed in a WinTV Extend CD during installation. You can ignore this. Its not needed for NPVR. |
