And if you ever run into issues with Vbulletin s/w try out Xenforo -- designed from the ground up by the core developers of Vbulletin and super nice with less quirkies over VB -- they got rid of the nasties in it.. Of course the current stuff is working fine as others have pointed out..

Wow, hard to fathom the OPs expectations. Sub/all, I think the forum and the wiki work great. And they look just fine. They are very functional and perform well for getting and giving help from/to users, which is all they should be expected to do. If you want help or information on NPVR, this is where you come. If you are looking to be entertained, look elsewhere.
