Psycik

For "Shits and Giggles", I installed gbpvr to c:\gbpvr\

I am in the same boat. Are you super-double-secret-sure that:

A) The latest code is on the wiki?
B) Paths in MusicLibrary2 .dll files are not hardcoded?
3) Did you check the ML2Panel.dll as well?

Ok, will check when I get home.

Try deleting the panel (just move it out to a sub directory). And can you post your gbpvr.exe.log and I'll look. Maybe I missed one screen??

Just want to see if I can figure out what screen caused the problem.

Ok I really can't explain it.

I uninstalled GB from C: program etc, and installed to D:\GBPVR

Removed the old gbpvr directory completely. Tried running it, same as you guys blah blah where is the skin file c:\program files etc.

Moved one line (the skinHelper Constructor to any plugin devlelopers out there) to a different location (after a check of PluginHelperFactory.GetPluginFactory() == null), did not change anything, there was definitely no hardcoding in my program or by the look of things subs, and it started going to the correct path.

I can't explain it. Any ways, here it is. There are some more checks, and it just wont show if the skin doesn't exist. It will log that however.

I've tested in the new location. And now it definitely says can find skin in .\skin\blue\Musiclibrary2.

Attached is the zip, and I'll post to the wiki as 3.8. Oh and the message about CommonGBPVR was still there :o but it's wasn't checking it. Oops.

Weird, that's clicking ok, (or enter on a track?)

Here's mine:

I wonder if its the language.xml you run?? Can you post that And I'll try (BTW I'm stll running off my non standard install directory, and the "proper" directory (C:\ program files.....) doesn't exist.

Maybe try the "Insanely stupid amount of logging" on a track. That will detail each parameter of the track that it's reading (I wouldn't do much else since it will create very large logs).

You might need to zip and attach the log.

Ok, here are the logs. I don't see anything in it but, who am I?Wink
I explain what i did exactly:
I started GBPVR (on the computer), clicked music-button, highlighted a song, clicked enter, I get the error, click ok, GBPVR goes back to the main menu by itself, I click music again, then the info-window of the song is there, I click on it (enter doesn't work keyboard doesn't function anymore), it disappears and GBPVR seems locked, arrowkeys etc don't work, but I can shut GBPVR down by clicking the X in the top right corner ( I run GBPVR windowedSmile )
I did all this with and without ML2panel.dll, With ML2panel.dll there was an error in the logs, but it did not make any difference for the rest I think.

Good luck

Hans

EDIT: forgot the logs ofcourse:o

Sorry Psycik to bother you again,

I put version 37 back, I noticed that it gives the same error.
I guess I never noticed it before because I hardly ever use the enter key to get the info on a song.
