yay! i managed to get that weak channel working Smile

Made a seperate tpl file for it, and it works fine now Smile Don't know why but oh well.

So now my two problems:

1) Switching between channels causes a 1 second play, followed by a pause and a loss of signal sign. After that, nothing more. Signal strength and quality hang around 75% mark. A simple 'back and forward' fixes the problem. I thought it was only for different transponder channels, but actually they're all on the same one. Wouldn't normally be a problem, but these two are one of the most used channels Sad

2) Audio on an entire channel group is 'chipmunk' style, in that it just plays really fast. The background sounds SEEM to be playing normally though at times, but the voices are always faster. Tried many diff codecs and what not, but to no avail. I THINK it may be playing normally on a different audio track. My proper receiver allows me to select audio tracks, i'm not sure if GBPVR does this, but if it does, it may solve my problem. I've done a serach of the forums but can't find any info on it.

Cheers

reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll see if I can see anything obvious

hey sub, ive attached two logs, the first, is the channel pause

The second, is the scrambled up audio problem

I see an error on the OSD for the first problem by looking at the log, but am not sure what could be causing it etc. as i'm using the default skin now.

Anyway you will know what it means, so here it goes :

also, just a suggestion for the future, that the logs be placed in a logs folder instead of just in the gbpvr folder. Did you do the whole thing on your own?

sub Wrote:I didnt know someone had added that to the wiki. I've purposefully not detailed the exact registry setting before since I know it have varied in some versions of the Cyberlink decoder at that time - I'm guessing its still not compatible.

That was me. I guess I was just trying to help others to avoid the added step of googling...

I didn't realize there was a difference. I googled quite a bit and saw this as the similarity...

Hmm, do i just post everything with a *.log on the end? What i usually do, is delete all the *.log files... then i go and reproduce the problem... come back, and get the new *.log files. I'm quiet sure that's all of them, but will try again.

The file I specifically wanted was gbpvr.exe-native.log

done Smile

First i scrolled through the channels, some froze, so i pressed up and went back to it but no luck. Then went back, and back in and no problems. I'm sure you can tell from the logs though.

THen finally iw ent into the ETV group of channels with the wonky audio. Don't know if the logs will show anyhting for that

Thanks alot sub Smile
