That actually sounds more like you capture device doing something funky. Have you tried different drivers?

You dont have a really fragmented disk?

Well actually I am using the original cd drivers I got 2.0.30.23074 dated 3/15/05.

Should I change em?

Well I have just cleared off 100 gb of video in the last couple of days. Have not defragged it yet. Yeah its fragmented but it takes forever to defrag when its full. Big Grin Anyways I am doing that now.

I would. They've fixed a lot of bugs in the last couple of years.

So I scheduled disk cleanups and defrags weekly so it doesn't get outta hand.

Heres 2 easy guides for anyone else is interested in doing it.

Thanks for the suggestions sub. This MVP live tv problem is gone. I did three things:

Defragged the poor video drive, I was gettin to that knew it had to be done.
Installed the latest drivers for the pvr-150.
And I was wrong when I said the MVP was plugged into the same hub as the server, there was another one in between, I changed that to remove another network hop.

Everything is working great now. So...now I can install a whole bunch of plugins and see if I can bring it to its knees. Big Grin
