Works great for me too. Just skipped around in a 10GB .ts file, nary a hint of weirdness. Thanks sub!

Do you think this will also fix the other .ts playbar problem people get sometimes where the left side goes to a huge negative number while the right side goes to zero, and you can't seek at all?

If you can give me any hints on how to reproduce that problem, then I'll fix it.

I had a recording do this while you were away sub.. It's something that has only happened to me once with the final 1.3.7 ts reader. I'll try and track the file down and see if anything changes with this new reader.

I've only seen it two or three times myself. Others have posted screen shots of it in other threads. I've not seen any method to reproduce it.

The reason I thought it might be somehow related to this patch is that on at least one occaision the problem occurred while I was trying to seek in the +4GB area of a file (ie, one behaving normally prior to the new patch here); suddenly it jumped back to the very beginning of the file and the playbar went to -549645:323:12 (example, not exactly those numbers) on the left, 00:00:00 on the right and I couldn't skip or seek at all; same symptoms as others have reported. Exiting and restarting playback resolved it though.

It also occurred the first time I tried the nativeutilities.dll patch (the one that adds the live-tv-predelay support for .ts timeshifting); it made me think the patch itself caused it, but of course it hadn't. It seemed to have been caused by a poor signal, as a bit of a storm was brewing in LA between me and the transmitter.

Beyond that, not much more I can say about it; as I said, it seems others have the issue more regularly and have posted screen shots.

Sorry, I dont know - I dont really have much to go on. If I managed to reproduce it here, or someone else finds a way to reproduce it, then I'll definitely fix it.

Just to add to the positives for this patch - Skipped to my hearts content through a 2.5 hour movie with the time staying perfect!

thanks again Sub

I've installed the patch, but still have the same problem with recordings starting with that negative number. I can't think of how you could reproduce it sub.

Would It help if I uploaded a short recording that has this problem?
