Sounds like it. How long had the app been running before you put the machine into standby?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Quite long, and hibernating manually straight after app start hasn't caused the problem since so that's probably not it after all.

When I reported it, it happened 3 times in a row. Now I can't repro it at all (hibernating either manually or via system timeout). Must be a particular combination of things, I'll report back if it happens again...

Just happened again, logs attached. There's a note about Present() failing:

2007-11-21 11:51:51.593 VERBOSE m_pD3DDev->Present() failed
Error code : 80004005
E_FAIL
An undetermined error occurred

but that's probably harmless? This is more likely the problem:

2007-11-21 11:50:06.359 VERBOSE [1] Exiting...

A 2nd issue I've found is that after hibernation, assuming I didn't get the error, I frequently have two instance of PV running - presumably the first isn't shutting down at all when that happens.

The only sign that something's wrong is that video playback/live tv is jumpier than usual, then on exit the screen moves straight to the 2nd instance.

I've attached my logs from when it happened earlier today (but note it was running for a while & I played back a couple of recordings).

Sorry, I dont know. You could see if this slightly later PVRX2.exe helps: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...ostcount=2 (it contains some additional error handling around SQLite)

You'd need to have you logging level set to 'debug' to get anything useful in the logs.

Forgot I reduced logging to provide smoother playback. Will post from the new PV when it happens again.

I have the same problem. However, when I try and start PVRX2 after have installed the patch, PVRX2 simply does not start.

I don't exactly know where the config.xml files should have the string inserted though.
