System Plugin for nPVR - Early Beta

I've updated the first post with a new version again.

- NEW: Added tuner activity monitoring
- NEW: Added a View button to flick between Drives or Tuners views. Also works with "Info" on remotes (CTRL+B).
- NEW: Added an option to have the plugin auto-switch between the views based on activity
- NEW: Background gradients for the drive charts can now be defined in the skin
- NEW: Per-drive elements that only appear if a drive has been added can now be defined in the skin
- NEW: Added another drive icon type (WIN) for a Windows boot drive
- CHG: Improved the method of detecting active/pending recordings (should be more robust)
- CHG: Lots of misc changes to the code as I slowly learn more about writing plugins for nPVR :-)

Thought I'd wait for the update before trying this plugin, it's pretty awesome thanks
Just one minor thing, really need those confirmation popups for shutdown options :eek:

Please note that the plugin doesn't like the new client/server mode in the latest nPVR release. I'll fix it as soon as I can, but it might take a few days.

I'm seeing errors on the client relating to it trying to discover file sizes for recordings that are actually on the server (so it chokes when the file path doesn't exist. I'm sure other problems may exist too, so please post them here in case I miss any. The plugin doesn't write any log files (yet) so copies of the exception messages will have to do for now.

I've posted another update - 0.10.08.08

- NEW: Confirmation popups now appear for the shutdown options, using the rules selected in the Settings screen.
- BUG: Fixed a problem in client mode causing the plugin to try and read file sizes from recordings on drives it didn't have access to.

Hi Iain
Looking forward to seeing if you can get your pluggin working on the popcornhour. I had a look today but it does not show up on the main menu. The part I am really after is the hibernate function as my computer will not hibernate after NPVR closes from the popcornhour.

I just had another look on my other popcorn hour and it shows up! and even better HIBERNATE now works from the popcorn hour!!!!

From my remote I can stop and start NextPVR, but would it be possible to implement a "Restart Recordingservice" in the System plugin?

I would 2nd this as an option? But would it be stop then start? Perhaps a definable option in the set up? ie if you don't want it you don't see it but if you DO want it you CAN have it?

Dying to try this out immediately but NPVR is running on same server as GB-PVR (which runs everything in the house), while applying managed to lose whole of GB-PVR config .xml for some reason which did not impress Mrs Steeb who has been waiting to watch episode of Eastenders via NMT and GB-PVR in main room :eek:
