Problem update PVR 150

I was using a PVR150 and GBPVR with no problem when I switched from cable to Directv. I was reviewing how to use the external box on here and saw that there were updated drivers and apps that worked better with the new boxes, so I downloaded them.

Here's the problem, when I run the first update (pvr150_500_basedriver_2043_24103.exe), the screen goes black. If I reboot, as soon as the driver for the card loads, the screen goes black and locks up.

Anybody have any experience with this kind of problem?

Well, I never got the new driver to install, but the IR blaster update got my remote controlling the DirecTV box (D10-300) just fine with WinTV. I can also start GBPVR and got the External tuner selected, so I get a Live TV window, but the remote won't work within GBPVR.

Am I missing something?
