When I configure GBPVR with config and start to scan satellite channels, then config fails in the middle of channel search.

WindowsXP Home SP2
.NET framework 2.0
KNC ONE DVB-S card using MCE2005 BDA drivers

If I restart config, then I can see the channels found again but rescan does not help to find the channels after the abrupt failure.

Config should scan for 74 transponders.
It fails at transponder 58.

Generic windows error follows:

Quote:Config.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you where in the middle of something, the information you were working on
might be lost.

Please tell Microsoft about this problem.

We have created an error report that you can send to help us improve config.exe. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous.

Note: signal strenghts indication stays on zero but channel are detected.
I miss several channels due to this error.

Sorry, I dont know. You could always try deleting that problem transponder from c:\program files\devnz\bda\DVB-S\xxxx.ini. The specific file will depend on the satellite you're using. Also remember to update the transponder count in the file, and renumber the others to insure things are numbered consistently.
