Anything I attempt to play through GBPVR does so without sound, including recordings and TV tuner. Recordings play fine in Mplayer. Any suggestions?

It sounds like its a problem with the audio decoders on your machine. Can you play the same files in Windows Media Player?

Thanks for the quick reply. Its the Hauppauge 500 dual tuner. Its been working fine for months until yesterday and the kids were complaining about the sound and I shrugged it off to a reboot. Today I wanted to watch a recording so now I have to fix it. all the recordings play fine outside of GBPVR, it just seems to be something within it. I renamed the config file, reconfigured it and still no dice.

Does it play in Windows Media Player? Mplayer is not a good check, since it doesnt use the same decoders as GB-PVR.

Maybe he's got the same problem as I did in net radio? Try pressing (and holding) the right arrow key, this turns up the internal volume. I know it's a long shot but I figured I'd try to help Big Grin
