I'm really sorry, I feel like I'm wasting your time. I'm quite sure I pasted the error in the message, well it sure looks like I didn't.
So I proceded to reproduce the error, more important the log.
The error is still there, but does not show up in the logs..........
I really feel like I'm loosing it (whatever 'it' maybe)
I'll try again tomorrow with a fresh head, maybe I'll re-install GBPVR first, to make sure my interventions are all wiped out.

Nah you're not wasting my time.

Remember you're using an MVP right? But trying this on the PC?? You'll have to stop the MVP server (in config set to 0) or it wont log...it's a "feature" of subs that it only logs from one instance of the gbpvr.exe (and the MVP gets it).

This is why the logs aren't showing the error.

Hmmmm, I'm guessing something isn't being translated properly.

As a test could you try renaming you language.xml so that it's not being picked up, or alternatively send me your language file.

I might need to add some more logging on the various screens and send you a new DLL so we can try and pin it down.

But at this stage could you sending or try removing your language.xml file.

I did make some changes in the original dutch language file, so I put the original dutch file back, it did not make any difference.
Did you get anymore errors like this from other users? if not, you might not want to bother too much, I want to re-install GBPVR tomorrow (I hope),
because I have other problems aswell. So maybe it's better to see what happens then.

Not that specific error, no I don't think I had. I think fatman_do was having your issues with the hardcoding of paths.

I'm not sure of any other non-english users though apart from yourself.

Ok that made sense, I tried with english as selected language and everything went fine, no errors. so .............what next?

Ok, when I get home tonight, I'll have a look at your language file and see what it does. I've guessing something isn't translating or there's a foreign character getting in there somewhere. Just need to figure out what and cope with that problem.

Cool now we're getting somewhere. I had similar issues on my SystemStatus plugin for retrieving something from the event log. A German user was having problems, I was never able to solve.
