MCE Remote Double-Clicking

I've never used HIP, but I'm guessing you should leave Remote Type setting in the GB-PVR Config app set to "Default (Hauppauge)" when using HIP.

I tried that. It doesn't fix it.
Anything other suggestions?

No.

what driver are you using for the MCE?

if you are using the ehome driver then that will produce a certain ammount of commands equivalent to keyboard controls, and your HIP configuration should have blanks in the 'primary command' field for each key that the ehome driver controls.

Or you can use the 3rd party driver, and the MCE plugin in HIP, which should mean the only responses you should get are the ones from HIP.

I figure it out. Here's what it was.

The remote was also recognized by Windows. So everytime I pressed a button, Windows interpreted it as a keystroke and HIP recived it as well. Basically, GBPVR was recieving a signal from HIP and Windows.

To fix it, I just disabled the remote in Device Manager (under Human Interface Devices).
Much more simple than I thought it would be.
