Yeah decent drivers. But I run into major problems once fullscreen mode in any program is used. I don't know if it's just my system, but once fullscreen is enabled (on any program), it jumps to my primary monitor..... eg. I can't play a fullcreen game on my second monitor.

Ultramon sorted out GBPVR. And coupled with direct access to Hauppauge remote (so GBPVR doesn;t need focus) my setup is running nicely, except for the sound issue that is!

@PatNicon
It sounds like, you had used the nVied Wizard for configuration. Is it true?

Ahh! This COULD be the Point! I know myself, that the nView Wizard provides some Options to make the Primary Monitor the only one for displaying Fullscreen Apps.
The problem is: My Driver is german, so i am not able to navigate you through the necessary options.

But you can do one other thing: Download the installed driver bei NVIDIA. Now Uninstall this driver from your Controlpanel, remove ALL even the nView settings, if asked.
Restart the PC. The Hardware Wizard will recognize your VGA again, cancel this at this step.
Now run the downloaded Driversetup and install the driver. After finishing reboot your PC.
In most case now the nView Wizard appears and want to guide you through different settings. Ignore this! Make just a cancel.
Configure now the Monitors from the Displaycontrolpanel and enhance Windows to the second Monitor.
The second one should be enabled now (in most cases -> clone mode or horizontal/vertikal mode).
Go into the ForceWare and change to DualView. If it's not there, just reboot the PC after enhancing to the 2nd Monitor. Now it should be there.

With these steps it should be possible to let GB-PVR just and easy start on the second display ;-)

Hmmm.. I did all that. Still wont start on second display without using ultramon to force it. I have a possible cause though. I have a 6800GS AGP. The drivers that came with the card are beta drivers becuase Nvidia hadn't released fully tested drivers for the AGP version yet. Maybe the latest drivers support my card and will fix the problem.

Although at the moment I'm quite happy with ultramon fix. I'm just wondering if anyone else is using forceware drivers and has no problems using the "Start on second monitor" option in GBPVR config without using ultramon.?????????

It does add some messages to the gbpvr.exe.log when it tries to use the second monitor. If you post the log file, I'll take a look.

Of course... Big Grin Me has no problems with this working. And a short time ago i asked you, which version of ForceWare you were using. You didn't answered this.
Under http://www.nvidia.com you can download the latest driver for your graphicscard (my favourite is the 81.98WHQL driver, because it's implementation of VMR9 and DxVA works best for me)

Ok I've attached the GBPVR.exe.log file. This was with Ultramon disabled and "start on second monitor" checked. All driver settings are correct and it should work. I'm using Nvidia forceware v. 82.12.

I'm sure it's an Nvidia driver issue though as it works for ShiningDragon. I'll try new drivers tomorrrow.
