Hi, i need help configuring gbpvr. It does not recognize the wintv-pvr-usb2 automatically (when i check 'only show devices detected in this machine' it says: no known cards detected in this machine), i've tried to manually configure it, but when i try 'live tv' it tells me: Failed to locate configured capture device. The remote-control does work though!?

Maybe there is someone with the a wintv-pvr-usb2 device that can show me his/her settings?

Thanks,

Pieter

What happens if you uncheck the "detect automatically" and then choose the card yourself? Because it is listed then, isn't it?

Did you install the capture card correctly? Does it show up in windows device manager? Does it work with wintv2000?

If you have the most recent driver for it, you must select "WinTV PVR2 USB2" in the GB-PVR capture source config. Otherwise, it will tell you the selected device isn't installed.

Thanks!!! , that helped. Now all i've to do is figure out how to manually configure the channels, without an EPG source (the machine i'm configuring gbpvr is not connected to the net right now) But i'll gues i can find that on the wiki.
