Could this be a problem if I try to put it in standby while it is recording something in the background?

Since nothing is coming up in the logs do you of a good way to test and try to fix it?

To be honest, I think trying to hibernate or standby while the tuner is in use is asking for problems. I'll see if I can add some logic in a future release to gracefully stop live tv and exit back to the menu if I detect a shutdown/hibernate/standby occurring.
