Whenever I play a video from the video library and it ends by itself without me pushing stop or something the GUI will crash and the screen just remains black.

From here I can access TV etc but of course the GUI is not visible. This does not happen during playback of recorded shows however.

The bulk of the videos I play back are in .ogm format.

I attached my logs below.

Thanks for the help in advance! Smile

What files do you have in the 'c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins' directory?

Ok, that shouldnt cause any problems.

Sorry I dont really have any suggestions. Its probably some bug in the .ogm decoder you're using.

This isnt a video format I support, so not something I test GB-PVR with.

I am having this exact problem. After playback of a video from the library, the GUI does not appear and all I see is a black screen. GBPVR isn't frozen or anything, the GUI just doesn't show up. It also happens when I exit from a video in mid-playback (but not when I just pull up the menu with the remote with the video remaining in the preview box).

The main difference for me is that it is happening with .avi files (xvid, mainly). It seems to be fine for MPEG files (I don't have anything else handy to test).

I'm running v0.97.13 on Windows 2000, and the only file in my plugins directory is vssver.scc. My logs should be attached.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Can you see if it still has the problem with the new v0.98.8 release?

Sorry, I should have checked for a new version before I posted. However, the new version does nothing to fix the problem, it still exists as it did before. Do you want me to attach the new logs?
