Hiya, I'm new to GBPvr and am very impressed with its capabilities. One thing I have noticed is that if you select a program from within the EPG screen and bring up the extra info it tells you the length of the program to the nearest minute (i.e. 60 mins).

However, when you search for a program by typing its name into the search guide when you find the program and bring up the extra info it gives you the length of the program to 0.0000000000001 of a minute Big Grin

Take a look:

Keep in mind that the number shown is rounded off.

I wouldn't set my clock by that.:p

I've never seen any other reports of this, and havnt been able to reproduce it here.

What EPG source you using?

What database (Access/SQLite)?

EPG source is radio times grabbed by XMLTV. I have MS Access on my computer. It's the standard skin.

It only does this when I view a program from the search guide screen.

I wonder why I only get this. Oh well it doesn't matter too much. Just thought it was worth mentioning.

zip and attach one of your XMLTV files also. I'm interesting to see if there is anything funny about the date/time format used.

Sorry mvandere, I'll have a look what DataBase it's using and attach the log file you require.

I'm at work at the moment so will do it tonight when I get home.

Unfortunately, I've been playing around with other bits of GBPvr to get my Live TV function working correctly and it's buggered up the Dbox capture source but hopefully I'll get that working and then be able to give you the log file.

Update...

Very strange but since tidying up all my folders and making sure I've got all the up-to-date files this problem has disappeared. All is fine now.

Just out of interest, is there any way of typing in the program you're looking for on the MediaMVP remote rather than going up and down the alphabet to select the first letter then manually scrolling through every program?

Maybe the 0-9 buttons could be used as they have letters on them like a mobile phone (without predictive text).
