sorry, misread the post. The import export will not retain your channels or your pending recording request, but it will retain recordings you have already recorded.

Whew,

One hour of effort and a new install of GBPVR solves all problems. Channel line up back aswell.

Now just need to re-set up my 'season' recorings and all is well again.
