V98.8 – Green button not working in the video library?

Hi sub,
I did a fresh install of 98.8 last even and everything went so smoothly it was hard to believe. Great job!

But the green (sort by date or name) button does not work in the video library, so I can’t tell what shows are new.
Sorry if this was already discussed, or if I'm missing something, but I couldn't find anything on this.

This isnt a feature, so I'm not surprised it isnt working.

The old video library might possibly have done this, but I cant remember. The video library was rewritten in v0.97.13, and the new one definitely doesnt do this.

Yea, it worked with all the older versions I’ve used.
This one's pretty important to me, is there any possibility of re-adding it?

I'll add it on the list of things to do, but it might not be in the next release.

The video archive plug-in includes a sort by date option and I think some of the other video plug-ins may as well.

Thanks Jeff, yea I’ve started to look around while I’m waiting for the feature to return. I have X-Record installed, tried My Video’s, and I’ll try VA next.
With enough remote button presses My Video’s worked, but it resets to the default layout each time “anything” changes in the library.

My video library needs are very simple.
See what’s new.
Watch it.
Delete it.
