I have searched all threw these fourms and have not been able to find a definite answer. Some people said they had luck with the older version of GBPVR and .net 1.1 and others said they could not get it to work. I havn't been able to find any recent threads on this subject. Is windows xp 64 bit supported by GBPVR now? Is there any way to get it to work? Thanks in advance.

Yes, apparently it does. There was a thread a few days back where a couple of people confirmed the current v0.98.8 version works with 64 bit Windows XP.

Thanks for the fast reply, do you remember if they used .net 1.1 or 2.0 with the new version? Also did they have to use beta drivers? You dont happen to remember where this thread was by any chance do you.

GB-PVR v0.97 and above requires .NET 2.0.

I dont remember. It would depend what capture device you've got.

No, but its in the 'support' forum somewhere in the last couple of weeks.

I'm fairly sure the PVR150's have 64bit drivers. They're offically labelled a 'beta', but thats pretty common with Hauppauge. Nearly everyone is running a beta version even on 32bit windows.

I was gonna say... I was looking at the downloads page on the Hauppage website a couple days back during a reformat/reinstall/reconfig of my HTPC and noticed the beta 64bit drivers. I may make the switch soon since I recently acquired an extra Windows XP x64 license. But given that I just reinstalled XP Pro 32... it likely will be a while before I'm inclined to mess with it again. I'll post up if I do, though.

I used a Twinhan with x64, and found the drivers to be as good as the 32bit version.
