OK - Playing with GBPVR 98.8 in Client mode it all looks promising! I can see the guide, I can see recordings etc. I just can't play!
I have played with graph edit and found that by specifying the mainconcept video and audio decoders AND most importantly specifying "Mainconcept MPEG Splitter" it plays perfectly.
But the default graph always seems to use MPEG-2 Demultiplexer and the best I get is one frame of video with audio playing normally.
Is there a way to build a grf file and then force GBPVR to use it (This seems like a quick fix to me rather than solving the Codec hell). My lounge pc is fine as I've ONLY installed whats absolutely necessary and this pc runs like a dream. But it would be nice to be able to play stuff to my office pc while I work and this pc has lots of video editing software etc so it has many codecs installed.
I've tried de-registering the Intervideo Codecs and the Nero ones and it still won't play with Mainconcept selected - I've tried de-registering Mainconcept and selecting Intervideo and still no go.
Whats the best method of attack here (assuming I'm dreaming being able to specify a .grf file for GBPVR to use).
