How does one configure a http proxy server for the EPG source (zap2it specifically). I've searched the wiki and forums to no avail. I'm running version 0.93.10.

Thanks in advance.

So, any chance of adding support for connecting through a proxy?

in thew mean time you could use my xmltv grabber http://www.birtles.org/uk/xmltv which does have proxy support and then import the xmltv file into gbpvr

Thanks. I'm afraid I'm using the Zap2It EPG, so I don't think an XMLTV grabber would help me.

By the way, that URL doesn't resolve for me. I get a "bad gateway" DNS error.

should have been http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv . Zap2It listings are available via XMLTV

I had the same problem with my ISA server, but was able to overcome this by creating a rule allowing anonymous access to the zap2it domain and allowing direct access to this domain. You would need to have control of your proxy server to do this.
