I am trying to install 90.0, and I keep getting the same errors:

First we get
Internal Error 2908.
{A31FFC4C-7A78-4b48-b816-571BE429ECB9}

Click on OK, and the install continues. Then the following appears
Error 1935. An error occured during the installation of assembly.
'wmppia, Version="9.0.0.3095",Culture="neutral",PublicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35",GUID="6bf52a50-394a-11d3-b153-00c04f79faa6". P;ease refer to Help and Support for moe information. HRESULT: 0x8002802F.

And the installation rolls back. Any thought on what the problem is and what to do other then a complete rebuild of the system?

Thanks!

I'm not sure of the exact cause, but its related to the dependency on Windows Media Player. Maybe try updating your WMP version before running the GB-PVR install?

I have recieved the same errors when trying to install the latest version of the software. I have checked my media player for updates and it claims I am running the latest version of the software. I am also running Direct x 9.0c, if this helps. Please, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Landru,

I was able to get it to install by downloading the program from a mirror, and installing the .Net 2 framework from MS. After I installed the .net framework. I restarted and then tried the install again and it went flawlessly.

Hope this helps.

It appears that my .NET 2.0 installation got corrupted. Fixed that, and the upgrade went fine.

Thanks for the help!
