Video Playback

Recently, I have not been able to play back some types of files anywhere but in GBPVR. For example, I put a DVD into the drive and when I open it with PowerDVD or WinDVD it is very dark and the colors are inverted. I can open the same DVD in GBPVR and it works fine. This also happened with a TV show I recorded. I have tried changing the video decoder to no avail. How can I fix this problem?

If its fine in GB-PVR, then it doesnt sound like a GB-PVR problem. Its probably the decoder or renderer these other apps are using.

my only guess at the source of the problem is that you could have messed up the video settings in those other programs. or that there is some wierd setting in your decoders for GBPVR that you have compensated for with your display settings, and so when another program is displaying video it looks wierd because you have compensated for GBPVR.

not that I have a solution other than take a good hard look at all of your decider and display settings, but thought I would share my insight anyways
