New build, digital channels mapped fine, could see all the digital channels on the small screen as I mapped them. Digital channels play fine using the OnAir software. When I go to LiveTV, only the analog stations play. If I use the + or - buttons on LiveTV, as long as it is in the digital numbers, it stays on the originally chosen analog station, but the guide at the bottom shows the digital channel info as you switch stations. As soon as the numbers hit analog stations, the channel starts changing as it should. NVIDIA DualTV installed as well. The PureVideo decoder is the preferred decoder according to DECCHECK, and is all updated. Any ideas why I can't get those digital stations via LiveTV? Thanks!

Sub--this is the same combo as the machine you were working on(minus the PVR150), but in a new build.

Sounds like the EPG channels aren't mapped to the digital channel tuning parameters you set up during the channel scan.

How is your digital capture source set up? I assume it is distinct from the 150?

Yes, the OnAir is a separate unit, set up as a BDA recording device. I spent hours mapping my QAM channels to the zap2it listings. The exact channles work fine under OnAir's listing, and I see those channels listed exactly under GBPVR's guide, but no TV there.

Are you sure those digital channels arent listed on the analog capture source?

Either way, zip and attach a set of logs and I'll take a look.

The digital channels are definitely mapped under the OnAir BDA recording device, QAM.

Are they definitely not listed under the analog capture sources though?

Can you post the gbpvr.exe-native.log after reproducing the problem?

Ahhhh--that was the issue--because of the way Zap2it updates the EPG initially, all my analog tuners had both analog and digital stations enabled. I went through the analog tuners and disabled the digital stations and, like magic, the digital stations have appeared. Thanks again.

One other thing Sub--maybe those logs might have a clue to an odd question--in my typically quiet PC, the moment I start GBPVR, the video card fan spins up to full speed, even though the temp is quite cool. What's the trigger there? If you need any other logs, let me know.
