Is there anyway to change the text color used for the channel numbers? I really like the plugin, but the channel numbers only show up as black text. I would really like to be able to change the text color to white so that they would be visible on a dark background.

do you mean the font used for the channel names? There is no special element to draw the channel numbers only.

How hard would it be to add an option to allow for display of Channel Logo Icons Only, Channel Text Only, or Both (Side by Side)? I love seeing the channel logos, but I really need to see the numbers too. If there was a way to map another column with a small textual indicator to the right of the logo, you'd still be able to see the channel number but not take away too much space from the listings.

This shouldn't be a big problem. I'll add an option for a future release.

it seems that there's something wrong with your skin-file. Which skin are you using?

You can control the font used for the channel names with this line in the skin.xml file:

<TextStyle name="ChannelNames" color="White" typeFace="Courier" size="12" style="bold"/>

And you can control the background used for the channel names here:

<NamedColor name="ChannelNameRectangle" color="#111133"/>

The above lines are from the default blue skin, and they result in white text on a dark blue background for the channel names.

Actually, the way I'd envisioned it, you'd need only one additional column immediately to the right of the existing column. If you chose to see only logos or only text channel numbers/names, this column would be blank - containing only a space. The original column would display your choice as always. If you chose the option to view logos AND text numbers/name, then the name and number would appear in this new column, replacing the space. The original column would display the channel logos.

And while I'm suggesting things , I wonder if some of the thread participants who spoke about creating their own programme icons (for US users whose XML doesn't support the icon element) would be willing to share their icons (program, not channel of course!)? Maybe this could be stored on the WIKI, or if you're in need of space, I'd be more than happy to host them.

Yes, and actually I took it for granted that was the default behavior, but I'm guessing that it is locale specific from your question.

That did it for me. Thanks! I'm using the Community skin. I had changed the setting in skin.xml, but this skin uses BaseSkin.xml. In that xml file it the text color was set to black. Thanks again!
