As I understand it (i.e. poorly), you only need to change "device number" when you have two identical devices.

Have you tried with "device number" set to "1" for both cards?

Yes, this is normally true. In this case though, I'm fairly sure ATI reused the driver names. I should be able to tell when he posts the logs.

Ok, Here are the logs. Incidentally I checked using ATI's software and am able to watch TV on both cards through that. Thanks for the help.

Can you post the logs with <AutoDetectEncoderMethod>0</AutoDetectEncoderMethod> set?

Your logs look better with <AutoDetectEncoderMethod>0</AutoDetectEncoderMethod>, so I'd focus on using that.

If you attempt to do a recording, does a file get created, and does it grow?

Yup one is created and it does grow.

Can you play it? If not in GB-PVR, how about in WMP or some other player?

Yeah though it's just static, with very low sound

That kind of sounds like its doing it thing then. Do you have the cable or antenna connected to both devices?

It can be difficult to tell which device you're using. ie, the digital side of the ATI 650 will definitely be device #1, but the analog side of the ATI650 might be device #2 and the ATI550 device #1, or the analogs might swap device numbers.

If I use #1 for the Analog then I get the analog side of the 650 card, which I've checked by plugging that side in. When I switch to device two, that's when I'll recieve the one station from the 650 but once I change I only get static. Could the other card be given another number other than 1 or 2?

I only have enough cords to have the HD plugged in and one Analog.
