I am using a TT C1500 DVB-C card with bda drivers. I have generated a new dvb-c .ini file with the symbol rate and frequencies for my cable provider.

The problem is that when ever I try and scan for channels (thorugh the 'Map EPG...') it starts to find channels no problem but then just crashes. usually after it has found the first few transponders.

I have tried both old & new BDA drivers and I can scan channels using other software no problems.

I have attached the error message I get if I stop Doctor Watson from opening.

Can anyone help please?

System Info:
Windows XP
Intel P4 2.4Ghz
512MB Ram

Hi, thanks for the help.

Silly question, do you mean the log files from GB-PVR or the log files that XP generates during the crash?

Cheers

I cant even see an attempt to use the capture device in those logs. Did you reproduce the problem immediately before posting the logs? If not, then the error logs probably would have been overwriten by now.

Sorry about the logs, don't know what happend there.

I have attached a new zip with 2 sets of logs.

The first is after a clean installation, however when I tried to scan I got a missing .dll error. I repaired the installation and scanned again.

The crash happened after the scan found the first transponder and begain to tune to it.

Thanks again

I'm not sure. There is no obvious cause in the logs. Does a file get created in c:\windows\minidump when this crash occurs?

Sorry, there is nothing new in the minidump directory.

I also get an error message when scanning that says '... MCF71.dll is missing...' I just press ok and the scan continues.

I have got it the scan the first transponder and save the channels before a crash. I will keep playing around. I might have to scan the transponders one by one for now!

I'll update if I find out anything new.

Anyway, thanks again.
