Choppy play while viewing tv guide?

When I look at the tv guide while watching a channel the picture gets choppy or a stop start type of picture. As soon as I turn the guide off the view returns to normal smooth viewing. Could this be because my processor is to slow? So far GBPVR has worked great except for this one problem, which I can live with if I have to.

Here are my specs:

P3 800
512 ram
PVR 350
40 gig hd

Any help or suggestions (other than buy a new computer) would be much appreciated.

I'd say your processor is the most probable cause, yes.

With a slower PC I would use overlay as a video renderer instead of VMR (playback tab in config app) as it requires less horsepower.
